Bang Gone

There are many magic effects which require the vanish of a silk. The instructions normally tell you to use your favourite method. Bang Gone is one of the most practical and effective ways of vanishing a silk. A prop, which occupies virtually no space in your bag of tricks and is very easy and trouble-free to handle.  It vanishes a silk with a literal Bang!

In effect, the performer shows a paper piece folded in a triangular cone. The silk to be vanished is placed inside the cone, then the cone is held at one corner and whipped. It explodes with a bang, then is opened out and shown completely empty - the silk has vanished without a trace.
